Farm Info:
In 1967, Isidro Pereira purchased the farm which he called IP. His son Luiz Paulo joined the business after completing his studies in Agriculture. By 1974, Luiz Paulo started an expansion plan, increasing coffee plantations and the hectares. Over the years, he invested in new processing equipment and specialized in producing high-quality coffees. Also, he dedicated time to train and teach their workers to worked towards quality by incentivizing with quality premiums.

Today, fazenda IP, continues to innovate, processing coffees with different methods and fermentations. After being mechanically picked, the coffee cherries are carefully placed in water to float and remove any low-density or defective cherries. The selected cherries are then transported to barrels where they undergo a meticulous anaerobic fermentation process for 48 hours. Following this, the cherries are spread out on raised beds and left to dry for 22 to 24 days until they reach the optimal moisture level.
